Kartik month is the most favorite month of Lord Vishnu. In the month of Kartik, Lord Vishnu resides in water on earth. Therefore, taking bath in Brahma Muhurta in this month has special significance. Kartik month has started from 29th October. In the month of Kartik, to please Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi and get their blessings, you should perform Vishnu-Mahalakshmi Yagya and recitation. By worshiping Lord Vishnu in this month, one gets eternal results. Akshay means a virtue that never decays. It is believed that whoever takes bath in holy pilgrimage water in this month, all his sins of previous births are soon destroyed.
